Solubility	In water 33 mg/l, in ethyl acetate 24, acetone 31, dichloromethane 28, ethanol 15, toluene 4.0, n-hexane 0.11, n-octanol 8.7(all in g/l,25°C).
Chemical Stability	Relatively stable in neutral, weakly acidic and weakly alkaline media. Repidly hydrolysed to the hydroxy derivative in strong acids and alkalis, and at 70°C in neutral media.
Storage stability	Stable under normal storge condition in original container for at least two years.
Toxicity	Acute oral LD50 (rat) is 1780 mg/kg, acute dermal LD50/rabbit is more than 2150 mg/kg.
Application	Atrazine is a selective triazine herbicide used to control broadleaf and grassy weeds in corn, sorghum, sugarcane, pineapple, christmas trees, and other crops, and in conifer reforestation plantings. It is also used as a nonselective herbicide on non-cropped industrial lands and on fallow lands.
